The conference “International Meeting on Numerical Semigroups” has been held biannually since 2008 in different European cities:

  • Porto in 2008: Organized at the University of Porto (Portugal) web page,
  • Granada in 2010: Organized at the University of Granada (Spain) web page,
  • Vila Real in 2012: Organized at the University of Tras-os-Montes and Alto Douro (Portugal) web page,
  • Cortona in 2014: Organized in Cortona (Italy) with main sponsor “Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica Francesco Severi” web page,
  • Levico in 2016: Organized in Levico (Italy) with main sponsor “Centro Internazionale per la Ricerca Matematica” web page,
  • Cortona in 2018: Organized in Cortona (Italy) with main sponsor “Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica Francesco Severi” web page.

In these meetings, researchers whose field of research is framed within the numerical semi-groups have been brought together from different areas of knowledge, such as Factorization Theory, Algebraic Geometry, Combinatorial, Commutative Algebra, Coding Theory, Number Theory, Semi-Group Theory, etc.
